Salmon Marinade
1/2 Cup of Olive Oil
1/2 Cup White Wine (Chardonnay for salmon and a less dry, sweater wine for white fish)
1/2 Cup Kikkoman, Roasted Garlic Teriyaki Sauce (or Kikkoman, Teriyaki Glaze)
1 Teaspoon of Lemon Juice
1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
2 Tablespoons of Shurz Good Special Blend
- Mix all ingredients in a zip lock bag and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Can be done faster but needs at least 6 hours.
- Cook as you normally cook salmon – oven is ok, but BBQ is great!
For smoked salmon, cut into 1 inch square pieces. Start at 350 to start for 10 to 15 minutes (opens up the meat). Then turn them over and smoke for 6 hours.
For small batches you can cut the amount of oil, wine and teriyaki to 1/4 cup.
